What to Expect During the Hydro Jetting Process
The hydro jetting process, when carried out by a skilled profess ional, can effectively remove waste buildup from your sewer line without harming your pipes. Whether your sewer line is clogged with grease, tree roots, corrosion, sludge, or other buildup, we can blast through the blockage and flush it out of your plumbing system.
Here is what to expect when you schedule hydro jetting services:
After your sewer line is fully cleared out, we will conduct a final video pipe inspection to ensure that the job was completed properly and to make sure you are left with nothing less than the best results.
Once we’ve had a clearer look at the blockage, and confirmed that your sewer line is safe for hyd ro jetting, we will begin the cleaning process. We will run a hose through the sewer cleanout and apply between 2,000 to 4,000 PSI of water pressure.
Every job begins with an initial video pipe inspection. This allows us to figure out what’s causing the blockage in your sewer line, so we can determine how much pressure to apply during the cleaning.
A video pipe inspection also lets us determine if your sewer line is fit for hydro jetting. Older pipes that are decayed or deteriorating will be too weak to handle the pressure of hydro jetting. If you have an older sewer line affected by decay or damage, we will discuss an alternative solution.
